Black and White Wednesdays

This picture is so *not* correct by photography standards, but it's one of those pictures that I will always love of the three of them.

For my dad's 50th birthday, he asked us to not get him any gifts and to only have the kids make him a cake.  So that's what we did!  We woke up early on a Saturday morning and baked a cake.  I literally let them do everything, with the exception of putting it in/taking it out of the oven.  Afterwards, they each got a spoonful of icing and I made them pose in front of the fridge because I'm THAT mom.

Oh, and the cake?  Well...
